As each guest is different, we have tried to create menus to take into account favorites, yet provide food that pays homage to our beliefs. Our Chefs are local and much of the menu is inspired by their own simple, yet cultural cuisine. Our kitchen is your kitchen and you are welcome at any time. We try to utilize as much produce as possible from our garden and orchards, or grown locally and seasonally. Many of the dishes on our menus are vegetarian, however many dishes can be served with chicken, prawns or fish if you prefer. Nag Shampa, meaning “Incense of Love” has been said to evoke idyllic reverie. We believe this feeling largely comes from our lovely family of 20 full-time Balinese staff. We are blessed with an irreverent, inspiring and dedicated team, whose passion is looking after our guests, and in-turn, their wellbeing. From our Chefs, to our gracious hosts, housekeepers, gardeners and support staff, to those who specialize in Massage, Meditation, Yoga or Fitness, we offer personable hosts whose intent is your welfare. The Yoga Shala provides a haven of spiritual wellness and is a proud and iconic Joglo pavilion accessed via a footbridge over the Main Pool. Yoga, Meditation or Fitness classes can be scheduled here and is the perfect location for morning or afternoon massage. The Relaxation Cottage is a traditional building that inspires contentment. Set on a ridge, surrounded by verdant green terraces, this private building is a quiet space for reading, writing, meditating or massage. Our local therapists are trained in Balinese and Reiki techniques. Massage is also available in-room or on your terrace.
Day to day activities
We offer a range of treatments that can be enjoyed on site as well as in the privacy of your own room. These include traditional Balinese massage, reflexology, Tibetan singing bowl treatments, reiki and special healing techniques.
Dining punctuates the day. It brings on the morning and closes out the night. As such we’ve taken great care designing the dining experience for our guests. Our menus are crafted to recall local flavors using fresh produce from our on site organic garden.
